Over recent week’s we have written a lot about the appeal of bespoke furniture made from reused wood. For this blog post, however, we felt it was time to get back to basics and remind the world about the items Mac + Wood specialise in creating.
Before we tell you about the furniture, we have to say something about the materials. The timber we use in our products is recycled. This means that each and every piece is guaranteed to be unique. We also like to think that every knot, scratch and imperfection in the wood adds beauty and character.
So what exactly do we make? One of our most popular items is the farmhouse dining table. These are stunning items that make a statement and go some way to turning a house into a home. We wrote about dining tables in our last blog post, which you can read here.
If a farmhouse-style table isn’t your thing, we can create a more contemporary table that sits on brushed steel legs. We can make these items in a variety of sizes, seating anything from six to 14 (or even more) people.
To complement your table, you will need something to sit on. We make matching benches to go with our tables. Again, these sit on brushed-steel legs and sit anything from two up to six people.
If you’re looking for something for more informal occasions, you may like our coffee tables. We can make these in several different sizes. Unlike the dining tables, we can build our coffee tables with a shelf underneath for keeping magazines or other clutter out of sight.
Finally, we also make desks. Sitting on brushed steel legs, these are based on a similar design to our tables, but feature a number of draws for storing stationery.
Hopefully this has given you enough information to explore our range. If you are looking for new bespoke furniture, now is a very good time to get in touch as our sale is now on offering substantial savings. Please do take a look and don’t be shy of getting in touch if you see something you like.
